Bridging the gap between the internet and cars
The SafetyNet Capstone project is aimed at devising a state of the art, automated driver alert system. The product will provide users with awareness of their surroundings to avoid potentially dangerous scenarios before they occur. ​

Most traffic safety assist features operate on a reactive basis. The SafetyNet team is committed to create a system that allows cars to openly communicate information that allows for proactive driving decisions. We have sought to fill this need by creating a GPS enabled device that actively transmits position and driver rating data to nearby vehicles.
